Nerissa’s journey into the healthcare field was inspired by her experiences as an athlete. Encountering less-than-ideal bedside manners from healthcare professionals, she was driven to offer something better—genuine care and compassion. This determination led her to pursue a career where she could make a real difference in people’s lives.
Nerissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Biology and a minor in Mathematics, a Professional Certificate in Musical Theatre, and an Associate of Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy. She currently is a massage therapy instructor at American Institute in Somerset New Jersey.
