Cancellation & General Policies
Cancellation Policy
We have a 16 hr cancellation policy. We charge 100% for:
- Same-day moves
- Reschedules
- No-shows
- Cancels
You need to reach us by business close the day before your appointment to make any changes. In some cases, we may be able to rebook the times if you let us know about your conflict promptly; please do not depend on the rebooking option, it is not always possible. If you cancel for ANY reason within 3 hrs of your scheduled time, you should expect to be charged in full regardless of the reason.
This policy applies to both old and new clients. It is in place so that we can pay a livable wage to employees as they are commission based. We love our clients, but we do not renegotiate this policy for any reason.
Last-minute cancellations are always charged, and the charge may not be used as a credit. Massage is like going to the theater, the show goes on even if you’re not there.
We do not make money off our cancellation policy by collecting multiple fees; it is there to pay for the time reserved that is now unbooked. We recommend not booking when you may get called to work or directly after flights so that you are not charged for canceling.
Lateness
Massage therapy is sold in units of time that are specific to your start time. If you are late, we may not be able to accommodate your full appointment length. Shorter appointments are still charged the full appointment fee. We cannot go into the next person’s time for any reason; please plan your day carefully.
Gratuities
Massage therapists are traditionally tipped, employees. Gratuities are appreciated and can be left in cash and Venmo at our locations.
Insurance
We do not accept insurance as a form of payment but we can issue you an invoice on request so that you can submit to insurance. We are out of network but also take HSA and FSA. You will need to check your benefits to see if you have coverage. See our insurance recommendations here.
Prenatal Massage
Please let us know at the time of booking if you are pregnant. We do not discriminate against pregnant people for any reason, and you are welcome to come in at any point in your pregnancy. Having a massage in your first trimester is safe.
Packages
Packages can be purchased for some of our services in ‘bulk’ to lower the cost. They may be refunded in full for 30 days after purchase, unused. Once used, packages cannot be refunded. Packages are for YOU and not meant to be shared. We recommend buying a gift certificate if you would like to send it to someone. Packages must be used in the location they were purchased. They cannot be used at a different location.
Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are refundable up to 30 days provided they are unused. Once given, the gift card belongs to the new owner we cannot take it back. Gift cards have no cash value other than for massage. We cannot issue you money back on your remaining balance. The best thing to do is to use it.
